A wonderful place to stay. Comfortable, stylish, spotlessly clean, fantastic breakfast, very kind and helpful owners. We woukd definitely stay there again if we are back in the Mani peninsula.

So beautiful! We loved our stay and cannot wait to return. Petrounis and his wife showed us such warm hospitality. The property is immaculate and beautifully designed with views of the town and the sea. Areopoli is a fantastic base for exploring the Mani and we loved returning at the end of the day to enjoy the charming streets and wonderful restaurants. Petrounis has the most perfect location in town- on the prettiest square next to the famous bakery. We are already planning to return!

the tranquility is unexpected as the room overlooked a stunning internal courtyard

The only thing was, that had nothing to do with the property was the noise from the square outside. I was fine with this but if you prefer a quieter stay then it may not be for you. Aeropoli comes alive at night :)

Why we chose this stay · Tier B

Petrounis Hotel offers a strong sense of hospitality and a charming, small-scale atmosphere within a picturesque village. While it excels in village access and service, the mixed feedback on quietness and the lack of explicit mentions of dedicated 'dolce far niente' spaces prevent it from reaching Tier A.
