The site publishes curated recommendations, structured analysis of public guest reviews, editorial articles, and an AI-assisted search tool ("the concierge"). Calmcation.me is not a booking agent, a travel agency, or a hotel operator.
Calmcation.me participates in Booking.com's affiliate programme. When a user clicks a link from Calmcation.me to Booking.com and subsequently completes a reservation, Booking.com pays Calmcation.me a commission. The price paid by the user is not affected by this arrangement. This is Calmcation.me' sole source of revenue. Calmcation.me does not accept payment from hotels for inclusion, placement, or favourable editorial coverage.
All reservations are completed on Booking.com's platform under Booking.com's own terms of service. When a user clicks an affiliate link, they leave Calmcation.me and enter Booking.com. Calmcation.me is not a party to any resulting reservation. Disputes regarding availability, pricing, check-in, cancellation, refunds, or the stay itself must be resolved between the user and Booking.com or the hotel operator. Calmcation.me has no authority to mediate such disputes, but welcomes user reports to improve its editorial coverage.
Calmcation.me' recommendations are opinions based on the editorial team's analysis of publicly visible guest reviews and other publicly available information. While reasonable efforts are made to keep information current and accurate, Calmcation.me makes no warranty that any specific detail, score, review excerpt, distance, or amenity description reflects current conditions at a property. Users are expected to verify critical information with the hotel or booking platform prior to travel.
Editorial writing, methodology, scoring systems, design, and illustrations published on Calmcation.me are the copyrighted work of Calmcation.me and may not be reproduced, republished, or redistributed without prior written permission, except for short quotations with attribution for journalistic, educational, or review purposes.
Hotel names, property descriptions, photographs, and guest review excerpts are sourced from Booking.com under the affiliate programme. Map tiles are provided by OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License (ODbL).
The concierge feature returns recommendations based on the site's structured hotel data and automated reasoning. It does not make reservations, does not guarantee availability, and should not be treated as personalised professional advice. Users must verify dates, prices, amenities, and booking conditions on Booking.com before committing to a reservation.

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, Calmcation.me and its operators disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall Calmcation.me be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of the use of the site, reliance on its recommendations, hotel experiences, booking failures, availability issues, or errors in published information.
Calmcation.me may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site following publication of revised terms constitutes acceptance of those revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the use of Calmcation.me shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sweden.
If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced with a valid, enforceable provision that most closely approximates the intent of the original.
