This property is a strong Calmcation candidate, offering a tranquil garden, a pool, and a warm, family-run atmosphere within walking distance of a historic town. It meets several core requirements, though it lacks the expansive, defining natural setting of a Tier A property.

From the moment we arrived Victor made us feel exceptionally welcome and at home. The house is a treasure trove, collected items from many years and unique hand painted walls in the dining room. It is a particular treat to stay in a traditional house. Our room was spotless and situated in the well tended garden, a tranquil retreat in which to enjoy a book. Breakfast was tasty and served in the wonderful, eclectic dining room. It is only a short walk to the centre of the city and what a treat awaits, there is so much to see in this beautiful city that we would like to have spent one or two more days there. We had a very early start the day we left and Victor was exceptionally kind in giving us a lift to the bus station. In my opinion this is THE place to stay when visiting Evora.
